Obituary – Amanda Tabor Kerk

Amanda Tabor Kerk

Amanda Tabor Kerk died Sunday, April 15, 2018 after long battle with cancer, now she is with our Lord Jesus. She has no more pain and is beautiful again. Amanda was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by grandparents James O and Mary T. Day and B J sr. and Lula Tabor.

Amanda is survived by parents Susan (Gary) Sussman and James (Chris) Tabor Jr. her first husband, Ignacio Buenrostro, current husband, and two daughters Daniela (Adam) Clevenger and Mari Buenrostro, one grandson and her three brothers Trey (Susana) Tabor III, Josh (Lisa) Tabor and Steven Sussman.

She was born in Baton Rouge was reared in Shreveport attended Southwood High School and lived in Goshen, Indiana. Amanda enjoyed life, was fluent in languages especially Spanish, and attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Goshen. She worked at the Sherriff’s Department and was also an interpreter for them. Amanda owned her own commercial cleaning business.

Amanda’s cremains will be interred at Centuries Memorial park Shreveport.
Donation may be given to St. Judes.
