Ralph Edward Hastings
Bossier City, LA – Ralph Edward Hastings, 82, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018 at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, TX. He was born May 20, 1935 in the small town of Rock, KS. At the time of his death, he resided in Bossier City.
Ralph was cremated, and his family invites all who knew him to his Celebration of Life at the home of Christy Long, 2371 Tallgrass, Bossier City, LA 71111, on April 21, 2018 at 1 p.m.
Ralph was a beloved husband for 53 years to Peggy Busbice Hastings of Bossier City; adored his children, Debbie Houghes and husband, Brian of Denham Springs and Susan Lefebvre and (late husband, Josh) of Bossier City. His grandchildren, Joseph, Grayson and Rene, were his pride and joy. Ralphwas from a large family and leaves behind several brothers and sisters, Anne Reid, Lyle Hastings and wife, Jan, Jerry Hastings, Gary Hastings andwife, Carol, Max Hastings andwife, Ruth, Carole Morrison and husband, Ivan, Connie Hastings, and several nieces and nephews.
Ralph graduated from Northeast University in Monroe many moons ago. He was retired and enjoye d his g r an dki d s immensely. He also enjoyed helping others and could be seen mowing neighbors lawns or throwing their papers up to their doors in the morning. He was an avid reader and researcher.
