Benton, LA- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Hill, age 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill with Rev. Tommy Patton officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hill was born on June 14, 1944 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and ceramics. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James D. Hill of Benton, LA; son, Marcus Hill and wife, Debbie of Blythewood, SC; daughter, Catherine Clark and husband, David of Coden, AL; seven grandchildren, Caroline Moorefield and husband, Frankie of Fayetteville, NC; Savanna Hill, Andrew Hill, Emma Hill, and Ryan Hill all of Blythewood, SC; Cody Clark and Chase Clark, both of Coden, AL; sisters, Betty Rich and husband, Benny of Plain Dealing, LA; Emma Slack of Springhill, LA; brother, Jack Bagent and wife, Betty of Baton Rouge, LA and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Cody Clark, Chase Clark, Wayne Kennedy, Jeff Slack, Jeremy Allen and Noel Allen.
