Glen Allen Mayhall
HAUGHTON, LA – Services will be held for Glen Allen Mayhall at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7,2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mike Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Glen was born to Grady and Mary Mayhall in Liberty, MS on August 7, 1932. He loved to fish, hunt and garden. He had a lifelong career in driving 18 wheelers. Glen worked for 23 years at TGY and went to work for Ryder and MTI. He was a faithful member of Hope Community Church of God in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Grady Mayhall and Monette Mayhall and sisters, Estelle Fulton and Mildred Mayhall. Glen is survived by his wife of 63 years Wilda Mayhall; children Glenda Meredith, Vicky Dodson and husband Steve, Rodney F. Mayhall, Lisa Harris and Todd Mayhall and wife Michelle; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother Wayne Mayhall and wife Lynda and several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided and Hope Community Church for all their prayers, cards and visits.
