Bank of Montgomery sponsored the Global Strike Concierge Group’s Formal Dinner for their 70th Anniversary of the Strategic Air Command. The GSCG is an organization that offers support for the members of the Air Force Global Strike Command, the newest Major Command in the Air Force. Bank of Montgomery received the 2015 USDA Rural Development Lender of the Year award at the 2016 Louisiana Small Business Awards Banquet. BOM earned the award for their valuable contributions to the success of the USDA Rural Development Business and Cooperative Programs and in recognition of utilizing in excess of 19.7 million. Bossier Resident Julia Cummings collected 19 flags for the Flag Day flag retirement ceremony at the American Legion Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 on Cross Lake in Shreveport. Mrs. Cummings said that she wanted to attend the ceremony “just because I am a patriot and I had never attended before.”
Mrs. Cummings (along with two guests) were there representing the Republican Women of Bossier.
