The zombie apocalypse is taking over Shreveport-Bossier City once again with a move across the river to Bossier!
In 2008, the Shreveport Zombie Walk began as a small food drive which allowed people to dress up as undead shamblers, have a little fun, and help the community at the same time. Over the years it grew in popularity, saw location changes, rising attendance numbers, and die-hard fans begging for more. After two years of dead silence, our only local zombie walk has returned to life once again.
Now called the SBC Zombie Walk, it will be held in Bossier City for the first time. The theme this year is “Love & Brains.” Not only will attendees be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank of NWLA, the event will spotlight local charities and community organizations as well.
SBC Zombie Walk 2016: Love & Brains will be on October 1, 2016 at NecroManor Haunt in Bossier City, next to the Century-Link Center. The event starts at 4:00 PM and the grand opening of the haunted attraction opens at 7:00 PM.
