Florence Perez Borja
Bossier City, LA – Florence Perez Borja, age 80 of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Borja was born January 28, 1936 in Piti, Guam to Jose Salas Perez and Maria Garcia Cruz. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was active in the Red Hat Society and served on the Altar Society at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Mrs. Borja was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers Junior, Jerry, Frank, and Joseph; her sister Mae Stevenson, and her son Jess Anthony Borja. She is survived by her husband Jesus A. Borja of Bossier City, LA; her daughters, Denise Borja Key and husband, David of Bossier City, LA; Teresa Renee Borja of Shreveport, LA; her daughter-in-law Cecilia Borja; four grandchildren, Cassandra Key, Mary Elizabeth Borja, Jeremy Borja and Jess Bethany Borja; and two great grandchildren, Brayden and Sopheya Borja; and, also, by her brother George Perez and wife Lou of Guam. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Bossier City, LA with Fr. Karl Daigle officiating, there will be a reception at the KC Hall on Hwy 80 in Bossier City following the funeral. Pallbearers will be David Key, Jay Thompson, and Jeremy Borja.
