Emily Annie Kittler
BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Emily Annie Kittler were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bossier City. Officiating was Rev. Matt Rawle, pastor of Asbury UMC, assisted by Rev. Tim Barnes. Interment followed at Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Ave. in Shreveport. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Rose-Neath Bossier Funeral Home.
Emily was born January 17, 1924 in London England to Harry and Sarah Abbott and died September 14, 2016 in Bossier City. She was a member of Asbury UMC and retired owner of Kittler’s Automotive Machine Shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max Kittler and brothers, Harry Abbott, Jr. and Jim Abbott.
Emily is survived by her son, Raymond Kittler and wife, Sandy; grandsons, Andrew Kittler and wife, Regina and Cameron Kittler and wife, Tiffany all of Bossier City, great grandchildren, Aubrey and Olivia Kittler and cousins, Cynthia Kittler, PHD, Ron Abbott, Jean Bitu of Rochford, England and Louise Davies of Perth, Australia.
Honoring Emily as pallbearers were, John LeGrand, Forrest Fair, Joe Carroll, Cameron Kittler, Andrew Kittler and Danny Lank. Honorary pallbearers will be the AMS Racing Staff.
