Free book delivery is one of many free services Bossier Parish Library offers to our patrons. This program is specifically for those unable to come into the library due to health issues. Whether it is a temporary setback or a more serious long term situation BPL is happy to bring the library to those who are homebound.
Patrons interested in home delivery can go online to the library website at www.bossierlibrary.org for an application. Click on the Services tab and scroll down to Homebound Delivery. There you will also find FAQ and instructions on how to contact me to set up the service.
To qualify, patrons must live in Bossier Parish and have an active library card in good standing. You can borrow up to (3) items for 30 days such as children’s and adult books, or audiobooks. Magazines, DVDs, reference materials, and local history items cannot be borrowed.
As with regular checkouts late fees and fines will be applied to the user’s account if the items are not returned by the due date or if the items are lost or returned damaged.
