Ms. Nancy Marie Gordy Foy, Age 40, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at her home in Benton, Louisiana.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm Monday, October 17, 2016, at the chapel of Kilpatrick Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Airline Drive in Bossier City, Louisiana. Nancy will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1pm – 2pm with a memorial service to follow.
Nancy was born on September 21, 1976, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Kenneth L. and Deborah Durham Gordy. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Genevieve Durham and paternal grandparents, Louie and Annette Gordy.
Nancy was a graduate of Huntington High School Class of 1994, and also attended Northwestern State University School of Nursing. She was a caring, loving daughter, mother, friend and the youngest of four children. She is survived by her children Felecia Nicole Foy, age 18, Tristan Dakota Foy, age 13, and the father of their children, Mark Foy of Benton, Louisiana, her brothers Charles Thomas Gordy of Pollock, Louisiana, and Christopher Michael Gordy and wife Robin of Keithville, Louisiana, and a sister, Natalie Gordy Dale and husband Philip of Shreveport, Louisiana. She had cousins, aunts, and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
In her short life she had a loving impact on many and will be greatly missed.
