There are plenty of activities scheduled at BPL for Halloween and Fall Fest to entertain kiddos and bring families together. And parents if you want to add a little something extra go to Hoopla and download a few not so spooky kids’ movies. Add a little popcorn and you are ready to go.
There are three easy steps to sign up for Hoopla. First, go to the App Store or hoopladigital.com to download the Hoopla app. Second, log in with your library card. And third, select and borrow the free digital movies, music, and more.
There are no late fees because when the items are due back they automatically deactivate on your device.
Some of the movie titles you might be interested in are:
“Harry Potter’s Halloween”
“Me and My Dragon”
“Spooky Buddies”
“Goosebumps: Horror Land”
“The Halloween Tree”
There is also a Kids Mode that you can activate with three easy steps. Step one, touch the Hoopla Home icon. Two, touch the settings gear. Three, toggle for Kids Mode. Remember to make sure your children practice internet safety whenever they use an electronic device.
It is that easy.
Libraries Transform!
Make a note:
BPL will be closed Friday, November 11 for Veteran’s Day.
All BPL locations are partnering with Toys for Tots again this Christmas Season. Each branch will have boxes where anyone can donate unwrapped gifts for children. The toy drive will run from November 1 through December 7.
