PLAIN DEALING – Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa Ann Reeves Harrington, age 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, John Wesley Blvd., Bossier City, LA, with Rev. Uriah Oxford and Rev. Karl Klaus officiating. Interment will follow in the Plain Dealing Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Bailey Funeral Home in Plain Dealing.
Mrs. Harrington was born on November 27, 1961 in Shreveport, LA to Rudolph and Margaret Whorton Reeves and passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Bossier City prior to living in Karnack, TX for two years and had made her home in Plain Dealing for the last several years.
She was a faithful and active member of the First United Methodist Church in Bossier City. She was a graduate of Airline High School, class of 1979 and a 1983 graduate of Louisiana Tech. She worked with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Department for 30 years and loved to paint, sew, doing crafts and loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Doyne E. “Skip” Harrington of Plain Dealing; son, Ryan M. Hadden and wife, Shelbie of Bossier City, LA; sister, Jayne Reeves, and her parents, all of Bossier City, LA.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hackman, Charles “Chuck” Whorton, Jr., Bobby Whorton, Richard Whorton, Jimmy Whorton and Mark Mahoney.
Honorary pallbearers will be C. G. “Buck” Whorton, III, Dale Bickman, Kenneth Bickman, Sheriff Julian Whittington and fellow deputies of the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
