ELM GROVE – Services to honor the life of Mr. C.O. Brown, Jr., 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Addie Youngblood. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born on November 27, 1950, and passed away on February 14, 2017. He was a transmission mechanic for many years at Greenwood Transmission, loved to hunt and fish, and was a wonderful brother, father, and friend.
C.O. is preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland O. and Maudie R. Brown. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Ruby Cryer and husband Billy; daughters, April Smith and husband David, and Jamie Carter; son, David Brown and wife Jessica; brother, Norman Woodall and wife Susan; several grandchildren, and extended family.
Pallbearers are Lance Ormond, Randy Churchwell, George Ray, Kenny Border, David Smith, and Kevin Smith.
