BOSSIER CITY – Summer Danielle Caffey, 36, of Bossier City, LA passed away on September 21, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with several illnesses. There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA.
Summer was born October 27, 1980 in Monroe, LA and lived most of her life in Bossier City. She was a very creative person who loved making jewelry and crafts. She loved anything artistic including music and movies. Summer was a people person, she truly loved her family and friends, and she loved helping others. Even though she fought a lengthy battle with medical problems, she always put others needs ahead of her own.
Left to cherish her memory is her parents, Walter and Mary Caffey of Bossier City, her fiancé, Danny Cross, her aunts and uncles, Edward and Vickie Dayton, Pat and Bernadette Dayton, Jazell and Neil Roberts, Sherry Berney, and Robert and Tammy Caffey, along with numerous cousins and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
