Imagine being able to email your favorite authors to ask them questions about their books or subjects they have written about. Author Check can help you do just that. It is a new service that can be found on the BPL website at www.bossierlibrary.org.

Author Check is “a library service enabling you to create a list of your favorite authors that are currently available in your library’s catalog.” In the Spotlight section fans can read writers’ bios and contact them via email. Recent Additions provides a running list of new titles. There is also an A—Z Author List and Author Search. Email notices are sent to you as soon as the library orders a new title by one of your authors “with a link into the catalog to place your own hold.”
Author Check where you can learn about some very interesting people who happen to be writers.
