Elbert “Allen” Kelly
Bossier City, LA – A memorial service honoring the life of Elbert Allen Kelly (Allen) will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with Tom Brown officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Allen was born on October 13, 1939 in Columbia, SC and passed away on November 14, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. He retired from the US Air Force after 21 years as well as from Sportran after 24 years. Allen served with the Joint Services Atomic Energy Command and 8th Air Force. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Temple Lodge no. 445, Joppa Lodge no. 362, and Caddo Lodge no. 179.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents Boyd and Elizabeth Frier Kelly and his sister, Anne Kelly Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Ganell Sasser Kelly, his brother, Joel Kelly and Phyllis, his children: Cindy Kelly Clark and Bill, Allen Kelly Jr and Kelly, Colleen Kelly Taule and Ricky, and Steven Kelly and Terry, plus beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
